  • Do you like a cold snowy day better?
  • Do you like a hot sunny day better?

The weather has been super hot here lately. It got up to 100 degrees yesterday. I’ve been out in it a lot because of my horse and yard work. I have to remind myself to drink lots of liquid because I forget and then get really thirsty. Fortunately where we live now it’s a dry heat and not much humidity (unlike when we lived in Houston). However, 100 degrees is still HOT.

When I think about last winter, I realize that, though heat is uncomfortable, I liked the cold even less. We had more snow than usual and lots of days where the high was in the twenties or below. It was just plain cold for all of January and most of February. I had to be outside those days too and I couldn’t wait to get back into the house.

So now, I’m curious. What do you prefer? If you had to choose to be a little uncomfortably warm or a little uncomfortably cold, which would it be? Comment below and I’ll put the results on my Facebook page. I’m betting more folks would prefer slightly cold than warm, but I could be wrong.

    I usually don’t like the cold/snow but this year’s hot sun has been too much for me. Our spring/summer weather has also been unusual with some days of 100-110 degrees to having tornadoes and tons of rain. So,I would rather have the cold/snow because I can always wear layers to keep warm.
