I always think every upcoming Christmas will be my favorite. I’ve tried to determine what is so special (besides the religious significance) about this time of year. Even if you’ve done it fifty years or more, it feels new and fresh each year. I wonder if it is the sense of hope for all mankind. combined with the joy we feel in giving. It warms the heart to see a child beam with delight after opening a gift. Yet what was most special to me this year was just the opposite. My nine year old granddaughter discovered the joy of giving. Using her allowance, she carefully picked out a present for each member of her family. I was there to see them opened and she took every bit as much delight in seeing their pleasure as they did in receiving a thoughtful gift.
Her example inspired me to make some gifts available to you. If you are a historical romance reader, I have a gift for you Here.
If you are a Christian contemporary romance reader, I have a short story gift for you Here
Choose either of both.
I wish you blessings in this New Year!
